WHO WE SERVE

The market for private security and executive protection services includes personal protection, building management companies, retail businesses, tv/film studios, event venues, and other businesses.

PRIVATE PROTECTION

Executive Protection, also known as Close Protection. These clients tend to be high profile VIP’s (celebrities, athletes, executives, etc.) These individuals may be exposed to elevated personal risk because of their employment, high-profile status, net worth, affiliations, or geographical location. Often these individuals employ their own in-house security professionals directly. They require highly trained and specialized security professionals, with extensive background checks and requirements, above the norm. These individuals require 24/7 around the clock services, and may also require services for immediate and/or extended family members.

BUILDING/RESIDENTIAL PROTECTION

Building management companies generally install surveillance equipment and employ security professionals to monitor that equipment, to staff front desks/security checks, and sometimes for general patrol. These companies often work with a number of commercial or residential buildings and look to establish a relationship with one reliable vendor for all of their security needs. While some buildings require night-shift security professionals, others require only day coverage.

CORPORATE SECURITY

Local retail/large businesses use security professionals to deter theft and to provide safety. These include department stores and other real stores over 3,000 square feet, although some smaller stores may use security professionals if they sell high-priced items (designer fashion, jewelry, technology, etc.) Retailers require more security professionals during the day. Some simply lock the store at night while some larger department stores use night patrols as well.

MEDIA PRODUCTION

Film/Television production studios tend to employ their own security professionals and some do use vendors. Film/Television security has the same risks as other security, but there tend to be a lot of moving parts. From actors, film crew, expensive equipment, on-set hazards, etc. Making this a very high-stress business that requires better-qualified security professionals. Film/Television productions tend to happen during the day but can extend into the evenings and weekends.

EDUCATION

Educational institutions, such as primary and secondary schools and colleges, generally employ security professionals to guard and patrol their buildings and campuses. Often these institutions employ their own in-house security staff, but they will sometimes use outsourced security vendors. These institutions require night and day patrols.

EVENT SECURITY

Event venues use security professionals to monitor guest lists and fire capacities and to organize emergency response. Nightclubs and bars may be included in this category. However, most nightclubs and bars employ their own security personnel directly and some do use vendors. Event security has the same risks as other security, but there is limited time for security audits and situations change fast, making this a higher stress business that requires better-trained professionals. Events tend to happen in the evening with weekday nights for corporate events and weekend nights for private events.
